Dan Hanna The illustrator of the Pout-Pout Fish is just as quirky as his fishy character in the book. This is Hanna's first visit to Kern County for the Young Authors' Fair. Vicki Leon brings her vivacious personality to bear in her presentation to students about nonfiction subjects. Her animal books have stunning color photographs to accompany a well-written text. Tidepools is just one of the fine examples of her work. Ms. Leon visited Young Authors' Fair in the past with books on ancient civilizations for older students. Myron Uhlberg is the critically acclaimed and award-winning author of a number of children's books. His first book was published when he was 66. He is the first-born son of deaf parents.
