Author Presentation by: Allison Crotzer Kimmel
Allison Crotzer Kimmel is a published author of five children’s books. Her latest books include: The Eternal Soldier and Unbeatable Betty. She is a high school English teacher in the Kern High School District as well as an adjunct English professor for Bakersfield College. Her professional awards include the Pennsylvania Young Reader's Choice Award, the Armin R. Schulz Literacy Award for an author/educator who promotes social justice in their work and classroom, and the International Literacy Association Children's Choice Reading List selection. In addition to teaching and writing children’s books, she has also designed and delivered curriculum through multiple modalities. We welcome her to the Young Authors’ Fair as our featured author.

- Student created books will be on display in the Beale Library Auditorium.
- Each student who creates and displays a book will be recognized with a Young Author sticker/ribbon.
