Rebecca Langston-George is an elementary school teacher and the author of eleven children's books. Her titles include The Booth Brothers: Drama, Fame and the Death of President Lincoln (Capstone, 2017); Orphan Trains: Taking the Rails to a New Life; and For the Right to Learn: Malala Yousafzai's Story, a National Network of State Teachers of the Year recommended title. California Reading Association presented her with the 2016 Armin Schulz Literary Award for a writer whose books promote social justice. Rebecca is a Past-President of KRA and volunteers as the Assistant Regional Advisor for the Society of Children's Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) Central-Coastal region.
